Geographic Travel Georgia (GTG) is more than a classical inbound tour operator managing accommodation, catering, transport and accompaniment. In cooperation with national and international NGOs as well as governmental institutions we offer study tours for professionals and a wider public interested in exploring the unique natural and cultural landscapes of Georgia. The spectrum ranges from geotours, botanical tours and heritage tours to wine, tea and food tours. GTG is a travel company committed to the sustainable use of natural and cultural resources of Georgia. The cornerstones of the corporate identity are:

Our Team
Kartlos Manvelidze
Founder & CEO
Kartlos Manvelidze is the head of Geographic Travel Georgia. He studied geography at the University of Freiburg and worked in forestry, Christmas tree growing, wine making, tourism and gastronomy. After eight years of activities in different European countries he came back to Georgia in 2018 and founded GTG to develop an eco-friendly tourism in his country.

Reinhard Dietrich
Co – Founder & Destination Manager
Reinhard Dietrich has worked on a wide range of tourism projects in Georgia, France, Oman and Iran. As a lecturer in Linguistics, Communication and Media Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and the Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus he has closely collaborated with the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Heritage Management and the European Institute of Cultural Routes. Since 2015 he is retired and lives now in Berlin and Perpignan. Visiting several times Georgia and joining of GTG team, he wants to contribute his competencies, experiences and networks to develop special interest tours and professional exchanges with other European countries.

Zviad Asanidze
Coordinator & guide of botanical tours
Zviad Asanidze (PhD) is a manager and one of the guides of the botanical tours in the company. He works as a researcher in the institute of ecology and botanical institute of Ilia State University in Tbilisi. The fields of his specialty are the plant ecology, distribution and diversity in Georgia.

Nino Sadradze
Cordinator & guide of geological tour
Nino Sadradze (PhD) is coordinator and guide of our Geological tours. She works as a researcher in TSU M. Nodia Institute of Geophysics in Tbilisi. The fields of his specialty are regional geology, geodynamics and volcanology.
