COVID-19 in Georgia

1. Infection situation

COVID 19 is no longer felt in Georgia. There have been no confirmed coronavirus cases for 5 months. 

2. COVID-19 Entry Rules for Foreign Citizens Traveling to Georgia

Citizens of any foreign countries, traveling to Georgia via any route (by ✈ air, 🚗 land and ⛵ sea) are no longer obliged to present either Covid-vaccination certificate or PCR-examination negative result report from June 15, 2022.

Flights to and from Georgia

Georgia has three international airports: Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi

Direct flights to Kutaisi (chek Wizz Air website) start from Vienna, Berlin, Dortmund, Memmingen, Frankfurt hahn, Hamburg, Kopenhagen, Eindhoven, Brussels, Paris Beauvais, Bordeaux, Grenoble, Lyon, Nice, Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Paris, Basel, Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow, Katowice, Budapest, Prague, Athens, Thessaloniki, London Luton, Tallinn, Vilnius, Riga.

To Batumi you find regular or seasonal flights from Minsk, Istanbul, Kiev, Kharkov, Odesa, Tallinn, Baku, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Thehran, Kuvait, Riad, Beirut, Amman, Astana.

From many other places in the world, transit flights are offered by Airlines like Air Baltic, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Ukraine International Airlines, Belavia, Czech Airlines or Lot Polish Airlines.

 

Visa Requirements

Visitors to Georgia must obtain a visa from Georgian diplomatic missions, unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries, or one of the Countries whose citizens can obtain an e-Visa. Visitors must hold a passport valid for the period of intended stay.
